Wind Wolves Preserve Engagement: Delia + Jared

Warm spring days are always so beautiful. The birds singing in the background, frogs croaking near the ponds, sun shining along the mountain ridges, reflections glistening in the still waters. What could make a day more beautiful? Adding an absolutely gorgeous couple deeply in love to this beautifully painted picture. Delia and Jared were the perfect accessories to this amazing day.

Delia and Jared have been together for the last 3 years enjoying everything life has to offer, and have finally decided this fall they will be taking the next step in love, and tying the knot. They are a perfect match, and seem completely smitten with each other! I love the dynamic the two of them share and cannot wait for their gorgeous Noriega House wedding. Delia you looked absolutely stunning for our session; it makes me that much more excited to see you as a breathtaking bride. Jared I hope I didn't torture you too much. Bakersfield Kids Portraits: Sophia's First Birthday

It is amazing how as you get older time flies by quicker and quicker. I feel like it was just last year I was meeting with Ben and Renee to plan their wedding. I really had to sit down and think about how long they had been married. They will be celebrating their 3rd anniversary in just a few short months, and this year they will have the best joy in life; their precious daughter Sophia next to them to celebrate.

Sophia is an absolute doll. You can definitely tell she is Ben and Renee's world! She is perfectly angelic and so happy! We wore her out during our session and other than her getting upset when we were trying to force her to eat cake she didn't cry once! She definitely has the beauty of her mama and the faces of her daddy! She is simply perfect.

I cannot believe this sweetie is already going to be one years old, but I am sure her parents are enjoying every second of her growing process. Happy birthday Miss Sophia. I wish you the happiest birthday ever!

Bakersfield Kids Portraits: Reyes Kids

I have known this family since Chris and Niki got married in 2011. Since then they have been in a whirlwind of having some absolutely adorable little boys. I have had the pleasure of watching them grow over the last few years and developing a very informative relationship with their daughter Jaden. All 3 of their kids are such a delight to be around.

I love everything about Jaden. She tells me stories upon stories every time I see her and always helps me get her brothers to smile. She is so sweet and a total joy to listen to. I am pretty sure she can talk faster than anyone I know.

Oh little Caden, where do I begin with this crazy little guy. He keeps me on my toes so I can only imagine how much he keeps his parents running. I think it is safe to say he will be the crazy one out of these 3 cuties, but he makes me laugh and smile the most! There is just something so dang cute about his little personality.

Last, but definitely not least is chubbers Braden. Holy Smokes this boy is a little chunk. He is so mild mannered and just chill. I can't say I have had the pleasure to see him smile much, he seems pretty serious to me, but he is so cute!!! How can you not want to squeeze those little chubby cheeks.

This has turned into to being a ritual at pictures with Jaden. She loves to throw up leaves, flowers, pretty much whatever she can at sessions. I kind of love it because over the years she will have a cute growth chart to look at. Hopefully she will never grow out of her love of taking these pictures!

Jaden is such a big helper with her brothers. She is one amazing little girl and I am sure Chris and Niki find so much joy in what a good big sister she is.

Kids Portraits: Leann and William

There is nothing more fun than photographing two cuties with lots of personality. Leann and William were all about being goofy and having fun with me. They definitely have a brother and sisterly bond that really brings out the love they have for each other.

Isn't this face the sweetest thing you have ever seen? Don't be fooled by her charm this is one witty little girl that definitely knows how to use her charm to get exactly what she wants. I just love her to pieces!

William is so amazing. He is such a great big brother and definitely wants to please not only his sister, but everyone around him.

These two pictures are probably ones their family will cherish forever. Leann and William are at the perfect age where they will still allow each other a kiss every now and then.

The ever so many cheese-ball faces of William! This kid is a crack up! He had a million faces to give me! I could write a whole blog post on all his different faces. You can never have too much personality!

Leann got a new dress for pictures so she was all about making that sucker twirl! Pretty much the whole time my attention was on Leann she was twirling!
