"Our little Angel"

I remember back when Sandy first told me she was pregnant. She was so worried that she would end up with another baby that hated sleeping. She thought there is no way I can handle going through sleepless nights. I (slightly worried about such a big promise) promised her that she would get one easy child, that God wouldn't do it to her twice. Thank goodness she got her wish with this little angel (and I didn't have to eat my words).

Gracie came into this world so angelic, adorable, amazing, and best of all... a great sleeper! Sandy told me that all she did was sleep! I arrived at Sandy's house thinking,

oh this is going to be a piece of cake, Grace is going to sleep right through the whole thing.

Well, we learned very quickly that Grace is an amazing sleeper, just not for pictures!

As much as I would have loved an easy shoot, I cannot deny that I am so happy she was literally awake the entire day. It does not get any better than grabbing that newborn memory with a direct look into the camera lens! I get to shoot sleeping babies all the time with a rare eye open in a shot or two. I cherish the shoots that I get with a newborn that is so awake and alert that she pretty much looks right at me 90% of the time.

Gracie is so sweet and adorable. I cannot wait to watch her grow and be apart of the rest of her life!

Introducing Brinkley!

Tasha and Peter were blessed with the most beautiful baby girl, Brinkley, on February 7th. They have completely fallen head over heels for their little pride and joy. She is an absolute doll, so tiny and full of life. I was so pleased to get the opportunity to meet Brinkley and the rest of her family. You can definitely see all the love this couple shares for her.

Even Chloe and Roxy, the cutest dogs ever, have welcomed Brinkley into their family. They were so excited for her they even were willing to stop and take a photo with her!

Congratulations Tasha and Peter. I wish you guys all the happiness in your journey with your new baby girl!

In rolls the princess, full of angelic smiles and sweetness. Mild mannered and happy are definitely not her weakness.
