Reeder Family

This beautiful mom, Erica, has two amazing kids Emerson and Jax. These two gorgeous kids are soon to become a big brother and a big sister, and they couldn't be more excited.

Although they are a fun loving family, they are yet to be complete without their new son and brother to keep them company.

The love and happiness that is shared within their family is so special and such a pleasure to watch, and I know their new little guy is going to share in this same unconditional love that Jax and Emerson feel every day of their life from their parents.

Erica absolutely glowed at our session. She is so naturally photogenic!

Emerson takes right after her mom. The camera loves her!

Jax is adorable, but he is like every other male I know and loves to hide from the camera. It's amazing at such a young age they already are so aware and hard headed about picture time. That's ok he doesn't have to be looking to catch the cuteness he throws out!

We had a blast walking around downtown during our session. Emerson kept us laughing and Jax kept us on our toes. I am excited to meet their newest addition, who will be arriving any time. Congratulations Erica and Grant. Your family is beautiful and I know you guys will be amazing with your new son! Thanks again for allowing me to capture a special moment for you!

Kalee Ryan

There are three very important things I learned about Kalee when I met her last Friday. Number one: if Kalee wants it Kalee gets it. Number two: Kalee is the boss, and if things don't go her way she will make sure they do. She may be tiny, but she already has a very strong personality in the makings. Lastly, she has three amazing women who will do anything for her. If she says jump, they say how high? If she needs help they will fight to be the one to help her. If she needs love they will give her all the love she needs.

It was so neat to watch the dynamics of these ladies with Kalee. She has one of the strongest ladies alive as her mother, and two amazing big sisters, who literally will do anything for her. There is nothing to worry about in life for Kalee, unless it is growing up as one very overly spoiled with love and care little girls. Personally I don't think that's such a bad thing.

I posted these last two pictures because we literally worked our butts off for the entire session trying to keep Kalee happy. Poor Sarah (the mom) was so exhausted from trying everything with Kalee, and when we finally gave up and were out of sunlight we set her down to start loading everything up, and what do you know Kalee was perfectly content. Not quite one month old and there she sat head lifted enjoying the scenery like nothing had ever happened. I had to snap a few shots of her because it was just too cute and would give Sarah something to laugh about later on in life. The strength her little princess has not only internally, but externally as well.

Downtown Engagement: Mike + Megan

I have always felt friendship before dating results in long lasting relationships. Mike and Megan met back in highschool and remained friends for the rest of their highschool and through some of their college years, but it wasn't until September 2009 that they reconnected and remained faithful to keeping in touch. By 2011 they began their dating journey and finally in 2013 Mike popped the question. They both have been so happy and excited to finally seal the deal this November.

I met Mike and Megan a few months ago and really fell in love with them. They have great personalities and I feel so comfortable with them. We started our session at Mill Creek Park with their absolutely adorable bull dog, Tank. I seriously want to steal him! He was so excited to be at the park that we had just a tiny problem keeping his attention long enough to take pictures so he only was able to debut for a shot or two. My favorite part of our session was talking to both Mike and Megan and learning about them. They both are amazing people and look great in front of the camera too. I am really excited to capture their wedding day in just a few months. I'm sure this wedding will be unforgettable!

Clayton and Grace

Orianna has to be one very proud mama. She has raised two wonderful kids that are both full of personality! Clayton is seriously so sweet to his little sister. He is exactly the big brother every little sister dreams of! He is so caring and really watches out and takes care of her. Grace and all her sassiness keeps Clayton on his feet and ready to take on the world. She gives her big brother great competition and has no problem getting down and dirty with him. They definitely have a tight bond that every mom wants to see in her kids.

Their individual personalities really came out during this session. We were all talking about how much harder it is to get them to stay put long enough to take a picture because both Clayton and Grace had their own ideas of what they wanted to be doing. Nick finally came up with a great idea to keep them put . . . throw ice at them and see if they can catch it. It gave us great laughs and put great expressions on their faces!

And of course what's a session without a chance to jump off something. I think this was the highlight for Clayton. Until . . .

. . . Nick brought out their tricycles. Talk about the best bikes ever! Ohh and this was suppose to be Clayton's scary face! I think Grace might need to teach him how to look mean.

The kids obviously had a blast on their tricycles and what a memorable prop for pictures considering these trikes have been in their family for years! I believe Nick used to ride on them! So glad they thought to bring them along to capture a few photos on.
