"Kelsey + Jack = Country Chic"

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of documenting a small country chic backyard wedding reception. The decorations were so adorable I had to share them. It's the time put into details that make each wedding special and unique to the couple, and this couple definitely did not skim on the decor. I loved the color scheme . . . turquoise and peach. The two colors together are that perfect combination for an end of the summer celebration. The wedding favors were perfect . . .adorable little match books with the couple's initials, and beer sleeves that all their guests could use throughout the evening. They had many special handmade signs placed throughout the area that finalized the perfect touch.

Thank you so much Kelsey and Jack for allowing us to be a part of your special celebration. We enjoyed meeting you guys and spending time getting to know all of your friends and family. We wish you guys a lifetime of happiness!

"Preston Is Coming"

Ashley has been excited since day one for Preston's arrival. She has his room all ready and waiting for his arrival. Harley Davidson is the theme...talk about adorable! I can't wait to get a glimpse of that room, not too mention she is using my favorite color ever . . . TURQUOISE!

I love all the sessions I have with this family because of the absolutely incredibly adorable little girl named Kelsie. Don't worry Ashley and Adam I like you guys too, but hello this little girl just screams star!!!! Kelsie can't take a picture with out her hand magnetizing to her hip, popping it out, and batting those adorable eyes at the camera. She is a total doll. She was so excited to tell me all about her new home, Preston, and how she was going to be a BIG sister now. Too say she is excited for his arrival is a total understatement.

Ashley and Adam, you guys have done an amazing job raising Kelsie, and I know little Preston is going to be the happiest boy alive when he finally enters the world because he will have two parents who love him unconditionally! Keep up the great work as parents. I can't wait to meet him, hopefully he decides to come sooner rather than later!

While waiting for a quick wardrobe change from Ashley, I caught Adam and Kelsie enjoying some quality time together. Talk about cuteness all the way around!

. . . And then the big debut of Sugar, the cutest dog alive!

A session isn't complete without grandma jumping in a couple shots. Jeri has got to be so excited to meet Preston considering Kelsie is the cutest little girl ever!

Congrats you guys! I can't wait for little Preston to come so I can finally see him and all his cuteness!

"The Big Zero-Five"

Mason, the stud muffin, is playing in the major leagues this year with starting Kindergarten and all. His big brown eyes melt my heart every time I see him, and I just know when he bats those bad boys at the girls they all swoon over him. I find it really hard to believe that he doesn't have every little girl chasing him around, especially when I found out he rides BMX . . . sigh. How cute is it to see a little boy already master such a cool sport, and absolutely loves it?

Mason still loves doing the typical kids stuff, eventhough he may seem like he's too cool and grown up for silly playground stuff . . . laugh . . . but his especially favorite game during our session was when he played a little hide from my camera. So sorry Mason, you may have thought you were getting away with no pictures, but I still got you! Of course I had a blast during our time together because I was able to capture Mason in his natural element. Thank you Mason for being such a cool kid and showing me what an awesome BMX rider you already are!

This is his masterpiece self portrait . . . I love that he even made his hair look curly! Pretty bomb drawing for a five year old if you ask me!

Did I mention that Mason is going to be a big brother? I am so excited to see him fall in love with his new brother or sister!

"Grandma's Special Love"

What could be more precious
Than Grandma's special love?
She always seems to know the things
That we are fondest of.
She's always ready with a smile
Or a loving word of praise,
Her laughter always brightens up
The cloudiest of days...
She has an understanding heart
That encourages and cheers.
The love she gives so freely
Grows deeper with the years.
Her wisdom and devotion
Are blessings from above-
Nothing could be more precious
Than Grandma's special love.
