Dransoff Family

I typically get to see Caity and Zack once a year, but they skipped last year due to adding an addition to their family. I finally had my chance to meet the sweetie pie, Archer on Sunday. He is the perfect addition to this family. He absolutely loves his big brother Miles, but I am not so sure Miles feels the same way about him just yet. I always enjoy the challenge of getting Miles to enjoy our time together. He's not one that is super fond of the camera, he would much rather spend our time together out exploring the world. Sunday morning these boys both came with their serious pants on so I knew I had my work cut out for me.

Miles warmed up fairly quickly once he knew if he took a few pictures he would have time to go exploring. Archer on the other hand . . .

. . . decided he needed to explore before he would warm up and even then I don't quite think he was ready. It was a whole new world to him.

Miles has a very special way of giving his brother kisses. It was so cute to see their little form of love for each other. I am curious to see if this is something that will stick in their relationship as they get older.

It was so nice to see you guys again and finally meet Archer. He is the sweetest boy ever. I look forward to watching him grow along with of course my boy Miles.

Hart Park: Jenny + Dara

Oh young love. There is nothing more exhilarating than falling in love with that perfect person. Dara and Jenny have been head over heels since the day they met at Dewars. We had such a great time at their engagement session. They have that special sparkle in their eyes for each other! It is so hard for people (especially me) to let loose and forget about the person behind the camera watching their every move, but Dara and Jenny no problem at all; complete naturals. I am so excited for their Kern County Museum wedding next year. Jenny gave me a few details at the session and it is going to be beautiful!!!! Congrats you two, you both let your inner beauty and love match your outer beauty and it created complete perfection.

Dunn Family

Jenn and Mike have been a dear couple to me. I was hired to document their special wedding day back in 2012 at the beautiful Randall House and since then have kept in close contact with Jenn. She has kept me informed of all the big milestones they have come across since their wedding. I feel so special to be considered a friend of hers.

I was so excited when Jenn informed me they were expecting their first child, and even more ecstatic when she told me they were having a boy and wanted me to do their maternity and newborn pictures. Little did they know they would have to give birth to their son 9 weeks early and it would end up being a very long hospital stay. Jenn and Mike kept their heads high through the whole process, and displayed such strength through a very hard circumstance. They are far stronger than I feel like I would ever be. Fast forward 15 months later and they have a very strong, healthy, independent, and absolutely adorable little boy Mason. He is so happy, sweet, and loves the camera . . . as long as it is only focused on him, and his eyes are to die for! Meet the ever handsome Mason!

Jenn and Mike you have done a fabulous job with Mason. He is absolutely adorable and I wish you a lifetime of health and happiness with your little stud. Thanks again for keeping me a part of your life. It gives me so pleasure watching your love grow for each other and now for your amazing little man.
