Kern County Museum: Mike + Megan
His eyes light up as he notices her across the room. To say Mike has fallen deeply in love with the most amazing woman he has ever met is a complete understatement. You know when you are in the presences of two people who are so deeply in love you can't help but smile continuously? This is how every single person felt as Mike and Megan repeated their wedding vows on a breathtaking fall day. The air may have been crisp, but the love igniting the flame burned complete warmth over this small intimate outdoor wedding. It was nothing short of perfection.
I have to say I was a little worried about this wedding not running on time. The few times I had met with Megan prior to her wedding day she told me how much she loved to sleep in and was worried about being on time. This of course made me hesitant that the wedding would be anything near perfect. I was in complete shock when I arrived to the Padre Hotel and saw everyone ready and waiting, and Megan the most breathtaking bride calm cool and collected ready to marry the man of her dreams. The day was nothing short of perfection. I do not think I have seen a wedding to date flow so smoothly. It was . . . amazing!
When we arrived to the ceremony/reception site I could not believe all the detail and hard work Megan had put into each and every table. It was radiating with fall warmth that truly allowed you to feel the love that both Megan and Mike have for one another. The day was perfection, an unforgettable wedding, between an unforgettable couple. Mike and Megan I feel so honored to have spent the day with you guys! It was such a beautiful experience to see the love that was shared between the two of you guys. I wish you guys a lifetime of happiness. Live your life working to please each other more than yourself and you will succeed!
Mike I have to tell you now that it is all over and done with: I was slightly nervous for your wedding (being that I was a little starstruck), but you are by far one of the most down to earth friendly guys I have ever met. Stay true to yourself and thank you for being such a pleasure to be around. Every single person at your wedding was such a delight and it just goes to show what amazing people the two of you are.
