The sun was blazing on that hot afternoon day of July 1st. Sharleen stepped out of the car looking breathtakingly flawless and immediately swept Gary off of his feet. Today was the day he would start his forever; vowing to love his lady till the end of times. He was ready!
Gary and Sharleen were an absolute joy to work with. It was no joke that temperatures soared to some of the hottest degrees Bakersfield has seen this summer, but you would have never known. Gary kept everyone laughing and entertained and our minds off the terrible heat. I can't even get over how beautiful Sharleen looked, even after hours outside she still looked flawless. If she was hot I never knew. She kept the biggest smile on her face and was so completely relaxed.
There wedding was a beautiful backyard wedding full of friends, family, love, amazing food, drinks, and beautiful decor. Everything was planned to the T and done with such finesse. The shabby chic rustic feel was perfect and I loved the fact that they incorporated whiskey into their table decor. It definitely pulled their personalities into the overall feel of the wedding. One of the most memorable moments of the night for me was the fact that they had a special cake made for Gary's sister and had everyone in attendance sing her happy birthday. It really shows how selfless this couple is and their love for their family and friends. The day was simple perfection.
Gary and Sharleen, You two were such a delight to work with. Your wedding was beautiful, relaxed, enjoyable, and a blast to be a part of. I truly appreciate you allowing me the honor of documenting your very special day. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. Thank you to the amazing group of vendors as well.
