"Our Family Tradition"

Junior Rangers is one of the biggest memories I have as a child. Every year my parents would take me to the Morro Bay State Park for a week of camping and rangers. It is the memory that sticks out to me the most because it was a tradition. Usually the times we remember most as children are those our parents create for us as traditions, something we could look forward to all year long.

David and Valerie have done exactly this for their kids with Octoberfest at Murray Family Farms. They have been coming every year since Delainie was only a year old. Valerie told me she could not imagine an October without Murray Family Farms. I was so excited when they asked me to document their time there this year because I had never been. I completely understand now why this is their family October tradition. I must say after a couple hours there I will be stealing their tradition to create a memorable October tradition for my family.

The day was a blast. Delainie could not go to each activity fast enough, she was so excited. David Jr. was on complete overload. He was so curious about everything we could barely squeeze a smile out of him. I believe Valerie's favorite activity was the giant pillow jump. She laughed so hard the entire time they were jumping. It was so hard for me not to drop my camera and get up and jump with her. She made it look like the time of her life. After a very quick few hours I walked away trying to figure out when I had time to come back with my family. It seriously was the most memorable session I have had, Ever.

Valerie and David, thank you so much for bringing me along to experience your family tradition. I had the most amazing time and can't wait until the next time I get to spend time with you guys!
