"Notice"

Due to my extremely busy schedule and trying to still have time for my family, I will not be writing blogposts for each session. I am extremely sorry if you enjoy reading them, I just feel that it is best if for this holiday season I temporarily delete this portion of my blog! I love writing about my sessions and it kills me to not do it, but they do take a great deal of time and I have very little of this right now. Thanks for understanding and I promise after the holiday sessions are finished I will begin to write again. Thanks Valerie Mitchell

"Visiting Daddy At Work"

Clayton loves going to see his daddy at work. He gets to run through the cotton fields, ride on tractors, and go exploring. Little Grace is also getting familiar with the fields; so by the time she's walking she will enjoy running around and tractor riding also. We thought it was the perfect place for family portraits this year. The weather was so weird on Saturday but perfect for our early day shoot.

Grace was such a trooper for how cold and windy it was. I don't think I ever heard her make a peep and she even shot off a few quick smiles for me to capture. My favorite picture is a candid of Nick throwing Clayton in the air while Orianna was turned around holding Grace, because Grace has the biggest smile on her face. I just wonder if she was able to see Clayton and it was making her happy watching Clayton have so much fun.

Clayton was on overload, which of course what little boy wouldn't be. He was running around having a blast showing off all the things he does with daddy at work. He even played a little game of hide and seek with me behind the wagons. He definitely is a cutie pie!

I had a blast on this shoot. I always love when we are able to personalize photo sessions to something meaningful to the particular family. I know these pictures will be a treasured memory for the entire family! Thanks guys for sharing a piece of what your family does with me.
