Shawn touched my life a few years ago when I first met her. She is one of the most amazingly strong courageous women I know. When I first met her, her husband had passed away with cancer only a few years prior and left her to raise their only daughter, Ryan. Her strength blew my mind! I could see the pain of missing the love of her life in her eyes, but she portrayed only strength, joy, and peace for her daughter to grasp onto. Her daughter was her world and she was going to do everything in her power to raise her the way her and her husband had dreamed of raising Ryan.
When Shawn contacted me Wednesday morning to see if I had any availability to squeeze her in for a session this weekend, I was overjoyed. I was also excited to hear I was not only going to see her and Ryan, but also would have the pleasure of meeting her wonderful family. They were such a delight to hang out with. They kept each other laughing, and you could feel the love they had for each other. They truly enjoy each other's company and one thing is for sure...Miss Ryan is the center of their world.
Shawn and Ryan, it was so wonderful getting to see you. Ryan you are such a fun beautiful little spirit to be around. Thank you so much for bringing your doll Carissa to help me take pictures. I could not have done it without her. Shawn, you are doing an amazing job with Ryan. I look forward to watching her continue to grow. Thank you so much for allowing me the chance to meet your wonderful family as well. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my Friday evening.

Hart Park: DeMontmorency Family
In family life, love is the oil that eases friction, the cement that binds closer together, and the music that brings harmony.
-Eva Burrows
When you think of fall, you think of beautiful vibrant orange, yellow, red colors, and cool crisp days; you do not think of 90 degree weather like it was on Sunday, but that did not hinder this family's warm loving character.
The DeMontmorency family is one of the sweetest loving family's I have ever met. I enjoyed spending the afternoon walking around observing their family dynamic. So much fun, love, care, and even a little silliness overwhelms this family's character. They truly enjoy each other's company and their love radiates happiness from them.
DeMontmorency family thank you so much for allowing me to capture this moment in time for you. Your family is beautiful and I absolutely enjoyed my afternoon!

Mr. David Is 6 Months Old
This little stud just turned 6 months old. I cannot believe how fast the time has flown by. Lindsay tells me how lucky she is every time I talk to her because she has the most happy boy ever . . . as you can see she wasn't lying. I seriously have never met a baby that is so happy, easy going, warm, loving, gentle, and angelic. I can tell you one thing, he feels very loved and has a great set of parents, that I believe are the contributing factor to this guy's confidence and great demeanor. I look forward to seeing David and his parents so much. I enjoy every second when I am with them.
David LOVES swings so we decided the perfect place for his session would be at the park. I think we nailed it with his grin stretching from ear to ear. I love this sweet boy's face and his amazing parents. See you soon little guy!

A Beautiful Ranch, A Handsome Horse, And A Princess Turning 5
There really is nothing more adorable than a petite little girl that knows what she wants. Ally is so full of life, animated, spunky, happy, sweet, angelic, loving, smart; the list really could go on forever. This sweet little girl is getting ready to turn 5 and she absolutely LOVES horses. So what better way to celebrate her birthday session in style, than on a farm and with her favorite animal ever.
The scenery was nothing short of breathtaking! The pasture so green, the distant mountains canvasing the background, the most handsome horse named Bud (who didn't mind having his photograph taken), and of course the cutest little girl ever. I mean what more could you ask for...simply perfection! I am pretty sure Ally was in Heaven and will remember this birthday for the rest of her life. Happy 5th birthday Ally. I hope you enjoy every second of it!
Jessica, your daughter is absolutely beautiful and so much fun to be around. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to capture this moment for her. I have always loved horses as well, so I really enjoyed myself. Jamie and Eric, I also wanted to thank you for being such wonderful hosts. You all were so amazing to work with.
